The Amesbury Chamber of Commerce and Industrial Foundation is organized to advance the economic and social well-being of Amesbury, by active service to its members and the community, fostering vibrant economic development, and assuming a leadership role in making Amesbury a better place to live, work and play!

Amesbury was settled in 1645 along the banks of the Merrimack River in Massachusetts. The early settlement developed a rich maritime history. At the heart of the American Industrial Revolution, in the early 19th century, Amesbury's huge brick mills sprang up along the Merrimack and Powow Rivers.
