The Amesbury Chamber of Commerce & Industrial Foundation congratulated three local businesses at its Good News Business Salute held on Wednesday, May 20^th at the Amesbury Sports Park, 12 South Hunt Road.

Guests enjoyed a delicious buffet breakfast prepared by Amesbury Sports Park Catering.

Robbie Ouellette of Amesbury Skate & Sport Shop, Inc. served as Guest Emcee.  He discussed the salutees commitment and contributions to the community and shared amusing anecdotes regarding the salutees.   Academy of Strategic Learning was congratulated for its community service and commitment to Amesbury.  Edward Jones was congratulated for its longevity in Amesbury.  Sal’s Pizza was congratulated for its new ownership”.  Mayor Thatcher Kezer congratulated the salutees and presented them with Certificates of Appreciation.

Owner Nancy White welcomed members of the Amesbury Chamber of Commerce & Industrial Foundation, Mayor Thatcher Kezer, and fellow Amesbury business owners to her store, Real Bodies of Amesbury, 35 Main Street, Amesbury at a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony held on May 1st.  Tours of the store, which sells women's clothing and accessories, were given and light refreshments were served.
