Chamber Spotlight/Special Events Committee         

Encourages networking and promotion opportunities among members through monthly Business After Hours events, which are usually held on the first Wednesday of the month from 5:30-7:30 at various member locations.  Also plans the Good News Breakfast Salutes, the Annual Meeting, the Block Party and the Holiday Restaurant Showcase.

Economic Development Committee

Oversees and monitors the direction of economic development activity. Works with the town, state and federal officials through the Alliance for Economic Development Foundation, Inc.  Recommends changes in zoning, purchase of land and buildings to broaden the business tax base and create jobs.

Finance Committee    

Reviews and monitors the Chamber’s budget and financial programs, monitors the LampPost & Park Bench programs.

Golf Tournament Task Force 

Plans and organizes the Chamber’s Annual Golf tournament held on the first Monday in June.

Membership Development Committee

Develops new ways to increase membership and retention throughout the year; creates a basis for membership retention through Chamber programs such as the Good News Business Salute, Business After Hours, Breakfast and Luncheon meetings, seminars and workshops.

Scholarship Task Force          

Reviews scholarship applications and grants scholarships to qualified students.
